Mrs. Jennifer Holmes

Jennifer Holmes, her husband Chris, and the Holmes family, enjoy their growing Apiary and Business, Hani Honey Company, in Stuart Florida. Jennifer is a UF/IFAS Master Beekeeper, UF/IFAS Senior Honey Judge, current President of Florida State Beekeepers Association, and Chair of Slow Food Treasure Coast. Jennifer is active as a Speaker on many Beekeeping topics, and travels world-wide to continue to learn and contribute positively to the Beekeeping Industry.

Providing Honey, along with Bees, Queens, and other products of the hive Locally, as well as Pollination Services, are a large part of their current activities.

Support and education in the community to both new and experienced beekeepers, are also a vital part of her Beekeeping practice.

Honey and Honey Shows are of particular interest to Jennifer, and she enjoys the opportunity participate in any way during a show, as an entrant, educator, or Show Staff. She currently serves as an educator, alongside friend, Michael Young MBE, for the UF/IFAS Honey Judge Training Program

Although Beekeeping is a main component of how Jennifer is received in the community, she maintains a posture of engagement with nature and full spectrum of enjoyment producing ferments from locally foraged, locally grown foods, and a forever passion for food and farmers.
